I hope that everyone has been having a wonderful week so far! I know that at this time of year in Washington we can get kinda bogged down with the gloomy and rainy weather. Right now 7 Wandering Backpacks have been working on building our campaign for Albinism Awareness through our social media platforms. Our goal is to shed light and educate others about not just the dangers of Albinism in Africa but also their success stories as well. The groups we are working with is Mama Mzungu and WACWAU. Mama Mzungu is a social enterprise built from the group up by women with albinism in Uganda. They make all natural had made goods including, soaps, balms, loofahs, and other items for the home. WACWAU is an NGO that supports and protects women and children affected by albinism in Uganda.
